Travel emergencies

Emergency contact procedure

The University has engaged the services of International SOS to assist with ongoing efforts to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all staff and students travelling on UTS business.

ISOS work in conjunction with the University's preferred travel agents to capture all relevant data for UTS travellers. This ensures in the case of an emergency they can quickly locate and assist our staff and students.

If booking through a non-preferred travel agent, log in and record details of the traveller and itinerary in the ISOS Personal Travel Locator.

To access and print an International SOS Emergency Contact Card go to the ISOS Portal or contact the UTS Strategic Procurement unit.

Medical and other emergencies

Some examples of emergency situations include being hospitalised, or a need to be evacuated, or having all your personal belongings, including passport, credit card and money stolen. You should contact the nearest ISOS Alarm Centre reverse charges for assistance.
